Interested in installing an eCoat Solutions coating system?
Use an ECS Approved Contractor!
We feel it is important that you, as a consumer considering one of our systems for your roof or facade, understand what an ECS Approved Contractor is:

An ECS Approved Contractor is an independent contracting business. In no way should a Contractor or a representative of the Contractor be construed as a direct representative or agent of eCoat Solutions (eCoat LLC).

To become an ECS Approved Contractor a contracting business is required to pass a basic credit application process, offer trade references, job references, and documents that show the company is licensed and insured.

In order for a building owner to receive any one of our warranties, a job must be installed by one of our Contractors. However, not every job can be covered by one of our warranty programs. There is an approval process the contractor must go through with each installation in order for eCoat Solutions to issue any of our warranties. At times the variables involved with a particular installation can negate our ability to issue a warranty.

We recommend you verify documentation that your contractor currently has an active ECS Approved Contractorship with eCoat Solutions at the time of the project and ask him for a sample of the warranty he is offering on the system, before the job begins.
We do our very best to make sure we work with great contractors and more importantly, great people. We also firmly believe it is critical that you as a consumer investigate any coatings and roofing contractor you are considering to install any manufacturer’s coating system, even ours, before the job begins.

Below is a list of recommendations to consider before hiring a coatings contractor:
A professional roofing contractor will have and provide:
  • A Permanent Place of Business – permanent address, telephone numbers, tax identification number and where appropriate, a business license.
  • Financial Stability – you should be satisfied that the contractor will be there when you need him.
  • Proof of Insurance – ask to see the type he carries and make sure it includes worker’s compensation coverage.
  • References – check with previous customers for complete satisfaction of workmanship and materials used.
  • Warranties – ones that cover both materials and workmanship.
  • A List of Completed Projects – name of project, owner, architect, contract amount and date of completion.
