ECS 5003 - SolarProtect
GS-Series: Solar Panel Ultrahydrophobic Nanoceramic Glass Coating

Originally developed for satellite and rover solar panels, ECS 5003 SolarProtect is an environmentally friendly, VOC-exempt, solvent-based hydrophobic nanoceramic coating formulated for maximum performance of treated solar panels. SolarProtect has excellent adhesion to glass and plastic surfaces, UV-resistance, and durability against airborne particulates.

This anti-static, self-cleaning surface increases solar panel performance while minimizing ongoing maintenance by 
creating a micro-thin, super-slick hydrophobic surface that prevents the adhesion of ice, dirt, debris, mold, snow, etc. In addition to its self-cleaning properties, SolarProtect concentrates the amount of solar energy that passes through the coated surfaces, showing up to 20% increases in the potential energy yield in solar panels.

GS-Series: Ultrahydrophobic Thermal Conducting Coating

The ECS 1300-1303 Thermal Conducting Series have been specifically designed to quickly and efficiently conduct heat away from coated surfaces, making them the perfect coating for systems requiring thermal energy to be transmitted away from vulnerable components. 

The ECS Thermal Conducting Series offers unparalleled protection of electronic components and heat sinks from heat, moisture, and other contaminants. ECS 1300-1303 Series has been specifically formulated for use on electronics and heat sinks where improved heat diffusion is required to reduce strain on the coated components.

​The coatings are easy to apply and offer best in class moisture protection and are available in 
clear, semi-clear, and opaque tints.

All ECS 1300 Series coatings are free of fluoropolymers and free silicones.

ECS 1300AG Thermal Insulting Series offers unparalleled protection of electronic components from heat, moisture, and other contaminants utilizing a blend of next-generation aerogel particles and nano-ceramics. ECS 1300AG series has been specifically formulated for use on electronics surfaces as a standalone conformal coating, or as a top coat to most non-silicone conformal coatings.

The ECS 1300AG Thermal Insulating Series have been specifically designed to block external thermal energy from transferring through the coating to the protected surfaces below, providing an extremely effective system to protect vulnerable components.

​The coatings are easy to apply and offer best in class moisture and thermal protection and are available in 
clear, semi-clear, and opaque tints.
